About this subsidy
Tender fees are small individually but add up fast for a micro enterprise bidding across several departments. Under the Industrial and Investment Policy of Mizoram 2025, eligible Micro and Small Enterprises are exempted from payment of tender fees.
Eligibility follows the same test as the rest of the procurement preference package: the enterprise must be registered and operational within Mizoram and employ at least 70% local workforce. It pairs with the EMD exemption, the 12% price preference and the 25% procurement reservation, which together lower both the cost and the risk of bidding for government work.
