About this subsidy
Getting electricity to a new industrial site can cost more than the machinery inside it. The Industrial and Investment Policy of Mizoram 2025 covers half of that: 50% of the actual expenditure on a power line and transformers is reimbursed, to a ceiling of Rs 5 lakh per unit.
The window is tight — the unit must claim within one year from the date of commencement of production, so budget the paperwork alongside the commissioning.
