About this loan
The Mukhyamantri Gramin Street Vendor Rin Yojana is an initiative launched by the Department of Panchayat and Rural Development, Government of Madhya Pradesh. The primary objective of this scheme is to facilitate access to low-cost equipment and working capital through bank loans for disadvantaged migrant workers and small traders operating in the rural sectors of the state. This program is designed to support both the establishment of new enterprises by migrant workers and the sustenance of existing businesses in rural areas. A key component for migrant workers setting up new businesses is mandatory participation in an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) delivered through Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETI) to equip them with essential business skills. Applications for this scheme are managed online via the dedicated Street Vendor Portal, ensuring a streamlined and accessible process for eligible beneficiaries. This initiative underscores the state government's commitment to uplift vulnerable segments of the rural workforce by enabling them to establish and grow sustainable micro-enterprises, thereby fostering economic self-reliance and local development.
