About this Opportunity

The NIDHI Seed Support Program (NIDHI-SSP) is a DST-promoted initiative that provides financial assistance to promising startups. The objective of this initial funding, provided by incubators such as AIC-RNTU Foundation, is to help startups progress and become eligible for private investments or commercial loans. The support is designed as a bridge between the development and commercialization of innovative technologies and products.

Eligibility

The applicant startup must be a company registered in India with a DPIIT registration.
The startup should have completed a minimum of 3 months in the incubator's resident or virtual program.
The startup should have developed a clear Unique Selling Proposition (USP) through customer validation.
The shareholding by Indian promoters in the incubated startup should be at least 51%.
Indian citizens for this scheme include those holding Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO).
Preference will be given to startups that have not previously received funding from any Government of India or State Government body.
