The NIDHI-Seed Support Program (NIDHI-SSP) is a flagship initiative of the National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). It is designed to provide crucial seed funding to early-stage, tech-driven startups. This program, implemented through incubators like CIBA, acts as a bridge between the development of innovative technologies and their commercialization.
The objective is to enable startups to move from the Proof of Concept (PoC) to a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and then to the Go-To-Market (GTM) stage. By providing financial assistance and comprehensive support, the program helps startups become viable and attractive for future investments from venture capitalists or loans from commercial banks.
