About this Opportunity

NIDHI-Seed Support System is an initiative to provide financial assistance to potential startups with promising ideas, innovations, and technologies. The program aims to bridge the gap in financial support during the initial phase of technology-driven startups, supporting them for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry, and commercialization.

Eligibility

Incubatee should be a registered company in India.
Incubatee has to be an Indian start-up (not for Indian Subsidiaries of MNCs/foreign companies; OCI/PIO considered as Indian citizens).
The shareholding by Indian promoters in the incubate start-up should be at least 51%.
Minimum of three months of residency at a STEP/TBI is required.

Application Process

Startups need to apply to the Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) that are approved under the NIDHI-SSS program. The call for applications is typically announced by the TBIs once a year, often starting in January. Startups need to check the websites of the TBIs for specific application processes and timelines.
