About this subsidy
Taking a business loan costs money before the loan even reaches you — the processing fee. Under the National SC-ST Hub's competitiveness interventions, an SC/ST-owned micro or small enterprise can claim that fee back.
The assistance is 80% of the processing fee or Rs. 1,00,000, whichever is less, excluding GST and other applicable taxes. It is claimed per financial year and only after the business loan has actually been availed.
Loans from Scheduled Commercial Banks, NBFCs and State Finance Corporations all count.

What You Get
Reimbursement of the processing fee your lender charged on a business loan — 80% of the fee or Rs. 1,00,000, whichever is less, excluding GST and other applicable taxes. It is claimable once per financial year and only after the loan has been availed, so it works as a rebate on the cost of borrowing rather than as fresh capital.
