Who is eligible for the Testing Fee Reimbursement Scheme?

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) where SC/ST entrepreneur(s) hold more than 51% shareholding and have a valid Udyam Registration.

How much reimbursement can I get?

80% of the testing fee or ₹1,00,000 (excluding GST), whichever is lower, per financial year.

Which laboratories qualify for reimbursement?

Testing done at NABL or BIS accredited laboratories, or labs of any Central/State Department or Public Sector Undertaking, qualifies. BIS licenses and certifications are also covered.

What documents do I need to submit?

You need: Udyam Registration, PAN card, Caste Certificate of proprietor/all partners/directors, shareholding details (for partnership/Pvt. Ltd/LLP), Partnership Deed or MoA/AoA, original payment receipt and GST invoice, attested test report, proof of prior reimbursements (if any) in the same financial year, and a cancelled cheque of the enterprise's current account.

Can I claim this reimbursement multiple times in a year?

You may apply within the same financial year but the cumulative cap is ₹1,00,000 (excluding GST). You must also provide proof of any prior reimbursement received under this scheme within the same financial year.

Applications are submitted through the National SC-ST Hub portal at scsthub.in under the NSSH Schemes section.

Testing Fee Reimbursement Scheme – Up to ₹1 Lakhs

This scheme provides financial assistance to SC/ST entrepreneurs by reimbursing costs associated with product testing. The assistance covers 80% of the testing fee or ₹1,00,000 (excluding GST and other applicable taxes), whichever is lower, for services availed from NABL/BIS accredited laboratories or labs of any Central/State Department/Public Sector Undertaking, including licenses or certifications from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), within a financial year.

Documents to be submitted:

Self-certified copy of Udyam Registration (UR) & GST (if applicable).
Self-certified copy of PAN card (in case of proprietorship, PAN card of SC/ST proprietor).
Self-certified copy of Caste certificate of proprietor/all partners/directors.
Details of shareholding in case of partnership / Pvt. Ltd / LLP firm, with SC/ST entrepreneur(s) holding > 51%.
Attested copy of Partnership Deed for Partnership Firm or Memorandum and Article of Association for LLP/Private Limited Company.
Attested or original copy (signature with stamp) of payment receipt and system-generated GST invoice for the total amount paid.
Copy of test report duly attested (stamped and signed).
Proof of any prior reimbursement received under this scheme within the same financial year.
Cancelled Cheque of the enterprise's current account.
