The Odoo x Allenhouse Kanpur Hackathon 2026 is a multi-round coding competition organized by Allenhouse Institute of Technology in collaboration with Odoo. This event is designed to challenge students, freshers, and coding enthusiasts on their problem-solving abilities, real-world thinking, teamwork, and execution under pressure. It emphasizes not just building a project, but effectively approaching and solving impactful problems.
Who Should Apply
The hackathon is open to students, freshers, and coding enthusiasts aged 18 years and above. Participants from any college, institute, or specialization are welcome, and inter-college or inter-specialization teams are encouraged. No prior hackathon or industry experience is required. Teams can consist of 1 to 4 members.
Format & Timeline
The hackathon features two major rounds:
- Virtual Round (Online Screening): Scheduled for May 10, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8 hours). Teams will receive surprise problem statements and must develop a functional solution or prototype. Submissions will be evaluated on problem understanding, solution approach, code quality, UI/UX, and practical feasibility. Results will be declared on May 22, 2026, with top teams shortlisted for the final round.
- Final Round (Offline Grand Finale): Held on-campus at Allenhouse Institute of Technology, Kanpur, from June 27–28, 2026 (24 hours). Shortlisted teams will tackle new surprise problem statements, building a complete working solution. Final evaluation will consider innovation, technical implementation, real-world usability, scalability, performance, and presentation.
Prizes
The competition boasts a total cash prize pool of ₹1,05,000, along with Odoo goodies, certificates, and potential job opportunities.
- Winner: ₹45,000, Odoo Goodies, and a Certificate.
- First Runner-up: ₹35,000, Odoo Goodies, and a Certificate.
- Second Runner-up: ₹25,000, Odoo Goodies, and a Certificate.
Exceptional hackathon performers may also be offered a CTC of up to 08 LPA for fresher roles, subject to eligibility. Candidates with prior experience may receive higher CTCs. All participants in the final round will receive a Participation Certificate.
Eligibility
Open to individuals 18+ years old. Teams must have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 members. No prior hackathon or industry experience is necessary.
How to Apply
Registration is free and mandatory. Team leaders must register on the Odoo portal and invite all team members. The registration deadline is May 10, 2026.
