About this grant
Clause 12.7.2 B(3) of Punjab's Industrial and Business Development Policy 2022 provides a seed grant of up to INR 3 lakh per startup. It is meant for the earliest costs of getting a company off the ground: validating the idea, building a prototype, travel, field and market research, skill training, marketing and other initial setup activities. The money is routed through the concerned nodal agency, but the grant belongs to the startup. It is non-repayable and no equity is taken.
