About this subsidy
The Special Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (SCLCSS) sits inside the National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) Scheme and helps SC/ST-owned micro, small and medium enterprises buy better machinery without carrying the full cost of it.
If you take institutional finance to procure plant and machinery/equipment, or to upgrade your technology, the scheme pays back 25% of that finance. The subsidy is calculated on institutional finance of up to Rs.1 crore, which puts the maximum subsidy at Rs.25 lakh.
It applies to both manufacturing and service enterprises. Priority is given to SC/ST women entrepreneurs and to entrepreneurs from the North Eastern Region, hill states, island territories and identified Aspirational and SC/ST dominant districts.
