About this subsidy
Stall rent is the reason most small manufacturers never exhibit. Under the Special Marketing Assistance Scheme (SMAS) of the National SC-ST Hub, a participating SC/ST enterprise pays none of it at the base size.
The scheme gives a 100% subsidy on built-up stall charges for the minimum stall size of the event, at domestic exhibitions and trade fairs.
Because the subsidy is pegged to the minimum stall size of that event, an enterprise wanting a larger footprint pays the difference itself.
