About this subsidy
Exhibiting abroad means somebody has to be on the stand. Under the Special Marketing Assistance Scheme (SMAS) of the National SC-ST Hub, that person's flight is paid for.
The scheme covers 100% of the economy class airfare by the shortest route for one representative belonging to SC/ST from each participating SC/ST enterprise taking part in international exhibitions and trade fairs abroad.
It sits alongside the stall charge subsidy and the per-event budgetary ceiling for participation.
