About this subsidy
The Special Marketing Assistance Scheme (SMAS) of the National SC-ST Hub organises visits for SC/ST enterprises to international exhibitions, trade fairs and seminars abroad.
This component sets the overall ceiling on that support: Rs. 1.50 lakh for a participating SC/ST enterprise per event. The ceiling is the outer limit of what the scheme spends on one enterprise's visit — the airfare and other admissible components for that trip sit inside it.
It is applied per event, so an enterprise attending more than one qualifying event is assessed against the ceiling each time.
