About this loan
The Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative is a flagship scheme under Mission Youth, designed to provide crucial financial assistance to young individuals across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Its primary goal is to empower youth to establish their own business units, with a particular emphasis on fostering high-growth entrepreneurship.
Inspired by themes like Youth Enterprise with Innovation (YouWiN) and the Champion for Innovation program, the initiative actively encourages young entrepreneurs, especially women, to pursue innovative ventures across various sectors. Beyond just providing capital, the scheme aims to stimulate broader economic growth by facilitating the creation of new businesses and supporting the expansion of existing ones. This dual focus ensures that both nascent ideas and established ventures can benefit, driving job creation and entrepreneurial spirit within the region. The scheme seeks to foster high-growth entrepreneurship through various mechanisms, including support for business plan competitions, to identify and back promising ventures.
