What proof should I keep?

The certificate or transfer agreement, invoices from the national or international body or recognised organisation, and proof of payment. The Department will check that the certification sits in the 12 selected areas and that the transferor is recognised.

Tripura Certification Reimbursement (2026)

The Tripura Industrial Investment Promotion Incentives Scheme, 2022 reimburses eligible industrial enterprises for two quality and technology costs: fees to obtain and renew Standard Certifications in 12 selected areas issued by national and international bodies, and a one-time fee for technical know-how or technology transfer from a recognised national or international organisation. This record is that incentive (section 6).

The wording is full reimbursement. There is no rupee ceiling in the clause. You pay the certifying body or the technology licensor, then claim the fees back from the Department of Industries and Commerce. Subsequent renewal of those Standard Certifications is also fully reimbursed. The technology-transfer / know-how reimbursement is one time.

The 12 selected areas are named in the clause as a count (12 selected areas) without listing each standard here. National and international issuing bodies both count. Technology transfer must come from a recognised national or international organisation — an informal handshake with an unrecognised party is outside the wording.

File on SWAAGAT and through the District Industries Centre. Keep invoices from the certification body or transferor, proof of grant of the certificate or of the transfer, and proof of payment. This is not a consulting retainer from the State and not equity. It pays back fees you already spent on listed certifications and on one recognised technology transfer.
