The Tripura Industrial Investment Promotion Incentives Scheme, 2022 (TIIPIS 2022) is the State's industrial incentive package, administered by the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Tripura. One of its rolling heads is a full reimbursement of the fees a micro or small enterprise pays to place Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) cover on a loan granted by a bank or an NBFC.
CGTMSE cover is how many micro and small units in India obtain a collateral-light working-capital or term loan. The Trust charges a one-time guarantee fee when the cover is taken, and a service fee every year while the cover continues. Under this TIIPIS head the State pays those fees back in full: 100% reimbursement of the one-time guarantee fees and of the service fees paid every year. The clause states no rupee ceiling — the claim is the amount actually paid for cover, not a fixed award.
Treat this incentive as its own program. It sits inside TIIPIS 2022 and is claimed through that scheme's process, but it is a distinct reimbursement, separate from capital investment subsidy, GST reimbursement, interest reimbursement, and the other TIIPIS heads. It is open on a rolling basis with no advertised closing date. Applications go through the State's SWAAGAT single-window portal at https://swaagat.tripura.gov.in/. The money is a reimbursement, not a loan and not equity: the unit first pays the CGTMSE fees to the lender or the Trust, keeps the receipts, and then claims the same amount back from the State.
The clause is sized for micro and small enterprises, not for medium or large units. The unit must be operating in Tripura and the CGTMSE cover must sit on a loan granted by a bank or an NBFC. There is no stated sector list, no DPIIT Startup India mandate in this clause, and no requirement to relocate to a park. Founders keep their equity. The reimbursement is not repayable. Claims are processed by the Department of Industries and Commerce against proof of the fees paid and of the underlying loan and cover.
