This focus allows 100X.VC to be a foundational investor, providing crucial early capital that helps validate the business model and attract subsequent larger funding rounds. It targets companies that are beyond the idea stage but have not yet secured significant venture capital.
The applicant must be an incorporated Indian entity for legal and due diligence purposes. This requirement is critical for legal compliance, facilitating the investment process, and ensuring the startup operates within the regulatory framework of India. This typically includes Private Limited Companies (Pvt Ltd) or Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs).

Shortlisted startups are invited to Mumbai for an interview: Candidates who pass the screening call are then invited to an in-person interview round in Mumbai. This crucial stage allows the 100X.VC partners to meet the founding team, understand their dynamics, delve deeper into their business model, and evaluate their potential for growth and market disruption.
A successful interview results in a term sheet offer: If the interview process is successful and the team demonstrates strong potential, a non-binding term sheet outlining the investment terms, including the iSAFE note structure, is extended. This signifies 100X.VC's commitment to invest in your startup.
Funding is disbursed after legal compliance, due diligence, and iSAFE note signing: Upon acceptance of the term sheet, 100X.VC initiates a thorough legal compliance and due diligence process to verify all company details and legal standings. Once this is successfully completed, and the India SAFE Notes are officially signed, the investment of ₹1.25 crore is promptly disbursed to the startup's bank account, marking the official entry into the 100X.VC portfolio.
