Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must be individuals at least 18 years old, holding an undergraduate degree in natural sciences, engineering, or medicine. They should not be receiving any other concurrent fellowship, salary, or remuneration and must commit to full-time work on their project.
Can startup founders apply?
Yes, an applicant can be a founder of a startup company that they are pursuing full-time, provided they meet all other individual eligibility criteria.
What kind of projects are eligible?
The program supports science and technology-based solutions addressing real-world health problems in sectors like diagnostics, medical devices, digital health, therapeutics, preventives, and rehabilitation. Pure academic research without a clear path to product/service deployment is not eligible.
