AI Sansad | Technical MUN on AI & Innovation is a two-day flagship technical competition organised by the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering, Delhi. The event uniquely fuses hands-on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning innovation with structured parliamentary debate, technical argumentation, and real-time decision-making.
What It Is
Where algorithms become arguments and code builds consensus. Unlike a conventional hackathon, AI Sansad challenges teams not only to build an AI/ML solution but also to justify their technical decisions, critically evaluate competing ideas, and negotiate toward collective consensus. Participants work in teams of 3–4, developing AI/ML-based solutions, demonstrating their technical capabilities, and defending their approaches through structured discussion, questioning, rebuttals, and negotiation.
Format & Rounds
The competition runs across three rounds, beginning with an online qualification stage followed by two offline stages.
Who It's For
Engineering and technology students and early-career builders with an interest in AI/ML, applied machine learning, and technical debate. Teams of 3–4 members. Participants must demonstrate technical understanding and be prepared to defend their proposed solutions.
Awards & Recognition
Why Participate
Apply AI/ML knowledge to practical technical challenges, build and demonstrate innovative machine learning models, sharpen communication and presentation skills, gain experience in technical argumentation and structured debate, and strengthen teamwork, leadership, negotiation, and critical thinking. Build the model. Defend the logic. Shape the consensus.
Participation Guidelines
Teams must register through Unstop within the registration window and complete the online abstract and solution submission to be considered for shortlisting.
