hackosquadCTF 2026: DOOMSDAY is a 24-hour online Capture The Flag (CTF) competition hosted by Hackosquad, an Indian cybersecurity community that runs CTF events for students, professionals, and security enthusiasts. This edition is the final chapter of Hackosquad's Marvel-inspired CTF series, following the earlier Iron Man and Spider-Man editions.
Theme and Format The storyline casts participants as the resistance against Doctor Doom, who has taken over global systems and triggered a Doomsday countdown. Players break into his networks, decode secrets, and attempt to shut down the plan before time runs out. Challenges are released in phases and increase in difficulty as the event progresses, so beginners will find plenty of approachable problems while experienced players get a serious final challenge.
Who It's For The competition is open to school and college students, working professionals, and cybersecurity enthusiasts. No prior CTF experience is required, making it accessible to newcomers while still competitive for seasoned players. Participation is solo, with a team size of one.

Why It Matters CTF competitions like this are a practical entry point into cybersecurity for Indian students and developers, offering hands-on exposure to real attack-and-defence scenarios. They are also a recognised way for security talent to build a public track record, which is valuable for careers in infosec, product security, and bug bounty work. For startups building security-sensitive products, the community around such events is a useful source of skilled hires and collaborators.
