GENESIS is an STPI initiative that provides comprehensive support to early-stage technology startups. It offers incubation facilities, mentorship, access to funding, and networking opportunities to help startups grow and succeed.
To be eligible for GENESIS, startups must be a beneficiary of MeitY schemes or registered with MSH, be a DPIIT-registered startup, have at least 51% Indian promoter ownership at the time of application (as per the Companies Act, 2013), and have a full-time CEO with market-ready products while seeking funds for business development and commercialization (in applicable categories).
Meity Startup Hub (MSH) will implement the GENESIS Scheme through approx. 50 Implementing Agencies (IAs) preferably from Tier-II and Tier-III cities of the country. Implementation partners and the startups selection under GENESIS Scheme will be done by experts based on defined and structured selection process.
