About this Opportunity

The Grant for Agroecology Program (GAP) Fund – Challenge Round 6 is managed by ACCESS Development Services on behalf of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). It supports enterprises working within agroecology value chains to establish or expand high-impact, sustainable business projects.

The program provides grant investments between INR 100 lakhs and INR 200 lakhs (up to INR 2 crore) to Producer Organization Enterprises (POEs) and Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs). These enterprises must be engaged in agroecology-aligned business models involving sustainable agriculture, climate-resilient farming, value addition, post-harvest activities, renewable energy, soil health, or other ecosystem-supportive practices.

The initiative aims to strengthen agroecology-based production systems, scale innovations, improve producer livelihoods, and build enterprises that contribute meaningfully to sustainable food systems. Selected applicants also gain technical assistance, ecosystem support, visibility opportunities, and investor connections through the GAP Fund community.

Eligible entities include:

1. Producer Organization Enterprises (POEs): FPOs/FPCs, Producer Organizations/Companies, Producer Groups, Cooperatives, Federations of SHGs, and formalized women’s, youth, or vulnerable-group collectives.
