About this Opportunity

The GREAT Scheme (Grant for Research & Entrepreneurship across Accelerated Technology) is an initiative under the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.

Hosted by the Incubation Centre (IC) at IIT Patna, the scheme aims to support innovative projects focused on Technical Textiles. The program seeks to turn ideas into successful startups by providing incubation support and a comprehensive ecosystem.

Key Offerings:

Funding/Grant Support: Up to ₹50 Lakhs for innovative projects.
Incubation Support: Access to a vibrant startup ecosystem, mentorship from industry and academic experts, networking with investors, and market access.
Technical Access: Access to Technical Lab facilities for Prototyping, Bio Science, and Semiconductor Fabrication.

Eligibility

Applicant Type: Open to Innovators, Startups, Researchers, and Entrepreneurs.
Startup/Innovator: Any startup with innovative ideas and technology-driven solutions can apply. Eligible applicants include Startups and Individuals associated with or incubated at IITs.
Focus Domain: Must be working on projects in the field of Technical Textiles across the 12 domains: Agrotech, Oekotech, Buildtech, Meditech, Geotech, Clothtech, Mobiltech, Hometech, Sportstech, Indutech, Protech, and Packtech.
