The selection process is driven by the interest of individual investors within the Indie Fund syndicate. Applications are reviewed by the investor collective. If a single investor expresses significant interest, they will initiate direct communication with the applicant. Should these initial discussions progress positively, the interested investor will then champion the game project to the broader syndicate. A funding decision is reached when a sufficient number of investors collectively agree to provide the necessary capital to meet the project's budget requirements.
