Yes. The program is open to startups incorporated as a legal entity (Inc., LLP, GmbH, etc.) in any country, including India, as long as they meet the product and IP ownership criteria.

Is this program equity-free?

Yes. COINS is a co-innovation partnership, not an equity investment. Infineon provides technology resources, samples, and market access — it does not take equity in participating startups.

What stage of startup can apply?

Hardware-based and semiconductor-focused startups from early prototyping and pre-revenue stages upward are eligible. Embedded software startups must be generating product revenues. Pure service, consulting, and engineering companies are not eligible.

What does Infineon offer beyond samples and eval boards?

Infineon acts as a potential customer, supplier, development collaborator, or go-to-market facilitator. Startups get access to Infineon's engineering expertise, its global customer network, and opportunities to present at flagship events in Munich, Silicon Valley, and Singapore.

What IP requirements must the startup meet?

Startups must have a scalable business model based on wholly-owned or licensed intellectual property. Pure service providers, consultancies, and engineering companies without proprietary IP are not eligible.

How long does the program take and is there a deadline?
