About this Opportunity

The MeitY GENESIS EiR (Entrepreneur-in-Residence) program is a government initiative to fortify the startup ecosystem in Tier II and Tier III cities. Hosted by the ACIC-BMU Foundation, the program provides a grant and dedicated mentorship to innovators and startups to help them develop their ideas into prototypes. It focuses on supporting tech ventures in key domains such as DeepTech, Electronic Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), and Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

Eligibility

Applicants must be Indian citizens.
They must be full-time UG/PG students or DPIIT-recognized startup founders (≤ 2 years old).
The innovation must be at the Ideation to Prototype stage.
Applicants must be from Tier II and III cities only.
Selected applicants must be physically incubated at the ACIC-BMU centre.
