About this Opportunity

The Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE 2.0) Scheme aims to promote tech entrepreneurship by providing financial and technical support to startups engaged in using emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, Blockchain, Robotics, etc., in areas of societal relevance. The scheme is implemented through a network of TIDE 2.0 Incubation Centers across India and offers support at the Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) stage for idea validation and at the grant stage for PoC (proof of concept) to Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development.

Eligibility

Applicant must be a citizen of India.
For EiR (Idea Stage): Individual/team with an innovative ICT-enabled idea in the specified thematic areas.
For Grant (PoC Stage): Registered startup with a ready Proof of Concept (PoC) in the specified thematic areas.
Should be willing to pursue the idea/startup full-time.
Should not be availing similar fellowship/grant from other organizations concurrently.
Must register their company within 3 months of grant acceptance (for grant recipients).
Preferences may be given to women entrepreneurs and startups with patents.

Application Process

Applications are typically invited by the TIDE 2.0 Incubation Centers for their cohorts. Interested individuals/startups need to identify a TIDE 2.0 Incubation Center relevant to their technology/sector and apply through their specific application process, which is usually online. Calls for applications are generally open for a period of about one month. Shortlisted candidates may need to present their ideas to a selection committee.
