Quick Answer
Odisha reimburses 50% of the cost of studies, surveys and feasibility reports in food processing, up to ₹4 lakh.
About this subsidy
Clause 10.4 of the Odisha Food Processing Policy 2022 shares the cost of the homework that precedes a food processing investment. Businesses commissioning studies, surveys or feasibility reports get assistance of up to 50% of the cost, subject to a maximum of ₹4 lakh, with prior approval of the MSME Department. When the study or survey is commissioned by the Government or a government organisation, no financial ceiling applies.
The prior-approval requirement matters: engage the department before commissioning the work, not after the invoice is raised. Claims are filed through the state's investment single window.
