About this grant
Clause 6.3.1(vi) of the PMFME Scheme guidelines provides assistance of Rs 50,000 per case to FPOs, SHGs and cooperatives for the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR).
A bankable DPR is the gate every credit-linked component of PMFME sits behind, and getting one written by a competent consultant is a real upfront cost for a farmer producer organisation or a self-help group. This clause covers that cost so the group is not paying out of pocket before it knows whether the project will be sanctioned.

What You Get
Your FPO, SHG or cooperative gets Rs 50,000 per case to have its Detailed Project Report prepared. That is the document a bank appraises before sanctioning the term loan that the scheme's credit-linked grant rides on, so this assistance removes the first cash barrier in the chain — you are not funding consultant fees yourself just to find out whether the project qualifies.
