About this Opportunity

The Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Startup Scheme is a flagship initiative by the Maharashtra State Innovation Society aimed at empowering women-led startups across the state of Maharashtra.

The scheme provides early to growth-stage financial assistance to innovative startups founded and led by women entrepreneurs. Through direct grant support, the program seeks to strengthen inclusive entrepreneurship, promote innovation-led businesses, and help women founders scale their ventures sustainably.

By supporting eligible startups with non-dilutive funding, the scheme enables founders to strengthen product development, expand operations, and move their ideas to the next stage of growth while contributing to Maharashtra’s innovation ecosystem.

Eligibility

  • The startup must be DPIIT-recognized and registered in the state of Maharashtra
  • Women founders must hold more than 51% equity stake in the company
  • The startup must have been operational for more than one year
  • The startup should have been registered with MCA before 20th November 2024
  • The annual revenue of the startup must be between INR 10 lakhs and INR 1 crore
  • The women-led startup must not have availed any other financial grant from the Government of Maharashtra
  • The startup should demonstrate innovation and potential for scalable growth

  • Startups are required to submit complete company and founder details through the online form
  • Applicants must provide information related to incorporation, DPIIT recognition, shareholding pattern, and revenue details
  • Relevant supporting documents may be required during the application process
  • All submitted applications undergo a detailed evaluation and assessment by the designated committee
  • Shortlisted startups are informed by the authorities for further communication and grant processing
