About this subsidy
An enterprise that sets up outside an industrial estate has to build its own approach road, bring in a power line and lay a water connection. The Industrial Infrastructure Development Fund under Telangana's incentives guidelines reimburses 50% of that cost, limited to Rs. 1 crore.
Eligibility is deliberately narrow. General category applicants must be new medium standalone enterprises; SC, ST and PwD entrepreneurs can claim as new micro, small or medium standalone enterprises. The site must be beyond 10 km (aerial distance) from any existing industrial estate, IDA or industrial park that still has vacant land or sheds available for allotment, and the eligible infrastructure cost is itself capped at 15% of the fixed capital investment made in the industry.

Frequently Asked Questions
What infrastructure is covered?
Roads, power supply and water connection built to serve the enterprise.
Why does the 10 km rule exist?
The fund is meant for units that cannot simply take an allotment in an existing estate, so the site must be beyond 10 km aerial distance from an estate/IDA/IP with vacant land or sheds available.
Can a small general-category unit claim?
No. General category claims are limited to new medium standalone enterprises; micro and small standalone units qualify only under the SC/ST/PwD category.
Is there a cap other than Rs. 1 crore?
Yes. The eligible cost of infrastructure is limited to 15% of the eligible fixed capital investment made in the industry.
