About this subsidy
Taking a shed on lease or mortgaging it to raise a term loan carries stamp duty that lands on the enterprise at exactly the moment cash is tightest. Under the Telangana MSME Policy 2024, all eligible micro, small and medium enterprises get 100% of that stamp duty back.
The reimbursement covers stamp duty on the lease of land, sheds or buildings, and on mortgage and hypothecation deeds — the documents an MSME typically executes when it takes premises and borrows against them.
