About this subsidy
Telangana's MSME Policy 2024 tops up its standard capital subsidy when the promoter is a woman. A micro or small enterprise set up by a woman entrepreneur gets an additional 20% investment subsidy on eligible fixed capital investment, capped at Rs. 20 lakh.
This sits on top of the general 25% investment subsidy (capped at Rs. 30 lakh) available under Para 2.1.6 of the same guidelines, so the maximum eligible investment subsidy for a woman entrepreneur works out to Rs. 50 lakh. It is a general-category benefit — SC, ST and PwD women entrepreneurs are covered by a separate, higher slab.
