CodeStone 1.0 is a 24-hour hackathon organized by Rayat Bahra University in Mohali, designed to foster innovation and coding talent among students. Participants will engage in non-stop coding to develop solutions across diverse technological domains, with opportunities for mentorship and networking.
Who Should Apply
This hackathon is open to student teams of 2 to 4 members. It provides an excellent platform for students to represent their institutes, showcase their technical skills, and gain practical experience in a competitive environment.

Format & Timeline
CodeStone 1.0 is a 24-hour, non-stop coding event held physically at Rayat Bahra University, Mohali, on May 8–9, 2026. The competition involves an initial registration and PPT submission phase, with a deadline of April 30, 2026. Shortlisted teams will proceed to the final hackathon event. Food and accommodation will be provided for finalists during the event.
Prizes
The total cash prize pool is ₹35,000, distributed among the top three teams:
- 1st Prize: ₹15,000
- 2nd Prize: ₹12,500
- 3rd Prize: ₹7,500
Additionally, participants will receive swag, certificates (including participation certificates), recognition, and 1-year .XYZ Domains. Top performers may also secure internship opportunities.
Eligibility
Open to student teams comprising 2 to 4 members. An initial registration fee of ₹100 per member is required, followed by a ₹1,000 per team fee for shortlisted teams.
