About this Opportunity

The FutureSecure AI Innovation Program (FSAI) at IIT Kanpur, supported by the Shibodhi Foundation, empowers student innovators in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity (CS), and interdisciplinary fields that integrate AI and CS to transform their ideas into impactful startups.

The program is designed to bridge the gap between research and real-world application through structured mentorship, funding, and industry immersion.

Eligibility

The program is specifically for students of IIT Kanpur.

Undergraduate students who have completed their 4th semester (2nd year onwards)
Minimum CPI of 7.0
Team size must be 2–3 members
Interdisciplinary teams are highly encouraged
Open to students from all departments across IIT Kanpur
Ideas should focus on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or interdisciplinary applications.

Application Process

Application: Eligible students apply through the link given below.
Shortlisting: Teams are shortlisted.
Pitching: Shortlisted teams pitch to a committee.
Immersion: Followed by industry immersion.
Final Pitch: Final presentation to the committee.
Selection: Two teams will be awarded the funding.
Disbursement: Funding is disbursed quarterly, based on progress and subject to satisfactory quarterly evaluations.

Note: Once the prototype is developed, teams in their 7th–8th semesters can incorporate their startup and apply for further grants. Donor-Backed Seed Funding may be offered against equity based on an exclusive pitch.
