Ideathon 3.0 is a two-stage ideathon organised by Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal. Participants are challenged to envision humanity's future around a rotating Kerr black hole, designing scientifically grounded solutions for interstellar travel, infrastructure development, system stabilization, and large-scale energy extraction using the Penrose Process.
Who Should Apply
Open to students, professionals, and space enthusiasts. Teams of 1 to 4 members are allowed, including inter-college and inter-specialization teams. One member must be designated as the Team Leader.
Format & Timeline
The competition has two stages:
- Round 1 (Online): Submit a technical proposal in PDF format (max 30 pages, solution overview up to 2000 words) via Unstop by 17 August 2026.
- Round 2 (Offline): Shortlisted teams present their solutions in person at MANIT, Bhopal on 22 August 2026.
Shortlisted teams will be announced on 18 August 2026.

- First Runner Up: ₹3,000 cash prize & exciting goodies
- Second Runner Up: ₹2,000 cash prize & exciting goodies
