About the Event
Kurukshetra 2.0 is a national-level 24-hour hackathon organised by MIT Arts, Commerce & Science College, Alandi, Pune. The event fosters innovation and collaboration in AI/ML, Web 3.0, cloud computing, and automation, empowering students, developers, and tech enthusiasts to solve real-world problems through hands-on, team-based challenges while building an inclusive tech community.
Who Should Apply
Open to all college students across India. Teams can be solo, duo, or groups of 3–4 members. No prior elimination rounds — all registered participants compete directly at the event.
Tracks / Themes
Participants can choose from four domains: AI/ML, Cyber Security, Blockchain, and Open Innovation. Problem statements will be released at the start of the hackathon, so teams must be ready to ideate and build on the spot.
Format & Timeline
The hackathon runs offline over 24 hours on 11–12 September 2026 at the MIT Arts, Commerce & Science College campus in Pune. Teams work continuously to build a working prototype or solution. Judging is domain-wise, with three winners selected from each of the four themes — a total of 12 winners.
Prizes
Total prize pool of ₹1,00,000+, distributed across the 12 winning teams. Additionally, the first-place winner from each domain receives a paid internship opportunity. No further breakdown of cash prizes by rank is provided.
Eligibility
Open to all college students in India. Team size: 1–4 members. Registration fee varies by team size: ₹300 for solo, ₹500 for duo, ₹1,000 for teams of 3–4 members.

MIT Arts, Commerce & Science College, Alandi, Pune, is a well-known educational institution in Maharashtra that regularly hosts technical and cultural events for students. Kurukshetra 2.0 is their flagship hackathon, designed to promote hands-on learning and industry collaboration.
How to Apply
Registration is a two-step process. First, register on Unstop (link provided). Then, complete the team registration and payment via a Google Form (link available in the event's Link Tree). Payment must be made based on team size, and a screenshot of the successful transaction must be attached to the Google Form. Registration deadline: 20 August 2026.
