Prod-A-Thon is a product management case competition organised by IIM Bangalore's Venix 2026 in association with Sigma – The PM & Tech Club of IIMB. The competition challenges student teams to solve real-world product management problems, testing their strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to design user-centric solutions.
Who Should Apply
This competition is open to undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students from any college or university. Teams must consist of 2–3 members, all from the same college and pursuing the same degree level. Multiple teams from the same college are allowed, but no student can be part of more than one team.
Format & Timeline
The competition consists of three rounds:
- Round 1: A quiz round to test foundational product management knowledge.
- Round 2: Teams submit a detailed case solution based on a real-world product scenario.
- Round 3 (Final): Shortlisted teams present their solutions to a panel of judges, who evaluate based on creativity, feasibility, and presentation.
The event runs from July 23 to August 8, 2026, with the registration deadline on July 26, 2026.
Prizes
Winners and runners-up share a total prize pool of ₹80,000. All participants receive certificates of participation.
Eligibility
Open to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate program. Teams of 2–3 members from the same college and same degree program.

IIM Bangalore is one of India's premier management institutes. Venix is its annual international business and entrepreneurship summit, and Sigma – The PM & Tech Club is the institute's product management and technology club.
