The NXP India Tech Startup Challenge 2026 is a national innovation program designed to identify and support high-potential Indian technology startups working on next generation electronics, semiconductor innovation, intelligent systems, and advanced engineering solutions. Organized by NXP Semiconductors, the program aims to accelerate the development of the Indian ESDM (Electronic System Design and Manufacturing) and semiconductor ecosystem while providing startups with global exposure and industry engagement opportunities.
The initiative is structured as a competitive innovation platform where startups building deep technology products can present their innovations to industry leaders, corporate partners, and technology experts. The challenge specifically targets startups developing intellectual property, processor technologies, semiconductor designs, embedded systems, and advanced computing architectures that can power emerging sectors such as electric mobility, industrial automation, robotics, and intelligent infrastructure.
Startups participating in the program gain access to a national showcase platform where their technologies are evaluated for technical innovation, real-world application potential, and scalability. The top startups are given an opportunity to present their solutions before thousands of technology leaders and ecosystem stakeholders, enabling them to build visibility, partnerships, and potential commercialization pathways.
The program offers a combination of financial rewards, incubation opportunities, and strategic ecosystem support. The top three startups selected through the challenge will receive a total prize pool of INR 10 lakh distributed among them. Beyond financial incentives, selected startups benefit from structured mentorship from NXP India technical leadership through a dedicated engagement program designed to refine technology roadmaps and strengthen product strategy.
In addition, selected startups can gain access to specialized incubation and pre-incubation opportunities through ecosystem partners including Electropreneur Park, Semiconductor Fabless Acceleration Lab (SFAL), INCeNSE at IISc Bengaluru, and IIT Hyderabad’s i-TIC deep tech incubator. These opportunities provide access to advanced semiconductor labs, FPGA innovation infrastructure, prototyping support, nanofabrication facilities, and expert technical mentoring.
