About this subsidy
The Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Drones and Drone Components was run by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. The total incentive was Rs. 120 crore, spread over three financial years.
Status: closed The Ministry invited applications from eligible manufacturers on 4 May 2022, and the last date for submission was 20 May 2022. An approved applicant was eligible for benefits for 3 consecutive financial years, but not beyond financial year 2023-24. No new round has been announced.
Who was eligible Drone makers with annual sales turnover of INR 2 crore, and drone-component makers with annual sales turnover of INR 50 lakh, with value addition of over 40% of sales turnover.
The incentive The PLI rate was kept constant at 20% for all three years.
