The Healthier India Program is a national-level innovation initiative aimed at addressing the rising burden of Cardio-Metabolic Diseases (CMDs) in India. It is a collaborative effort led by the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at IIT Delhi, in partnership with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), and supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The program provides a comprehensive ecosystem of support, including expert mentorship, bootcamps, and funding, to help both early-stage innovators and growth-stage startups develop and scale tech-driven health solutions.
The program focuses on two main themes: Community Screening and Diagnostics and Disease Management and Patient Engagement. The initiative's goal is to unite academia, government, and industry to create impactful solutions that make healthcare more accessible and affordable.
