This hackathon aims to unite innovative minds to develop technology-driven solutions for pressing real-world problems across a multitude of domains. Participants will benefit from expert mentorship, gain valuable technical exposure, and have the unique opportunity to present their groundbreaking ideas to an experienced panel of judges. Who Should Apply This hackathon is open to students from all colleges who possess a keen interest in technology, innovation, and problem-solving. Participants are required to form teams of 2 to 4 members; solo participation is not permitted. Cross-college teams are highly encouraged, fostering diverse collaboration and inter-institutional networking. Tracks / Themes Participants can choose to develop prototypes or Figma-based solutions within the following key domains: FinTech: Innovations in financial technology. Sustainability and Environment: Solutions addressing ecological challenges. Healthcare: Advancements in medical and health technology. Defence Technology: Innovations for national security and defence. Cybersecurity: Solutions to enhance digital security. Industrial Mobilization: Technologies for optimizing industrial processes. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Deep Learning (DL), Machine Learning (ML): Projects leveraging advanced AI and machine learning techniques. Format & Timeline The hackathon follows a hybrid structure, commencing with online mentoring sessions and culminating in an offline final pitching round. Round 1 – Online Mentoring and Evaluation: Scheduled for April 20, 2026, conducted online via Discord. Shortlisted teams will receive guidance from industry mentors and technical experts to refine their solutions. Mentors will evaluate ideas, technical feasibility, and prototype progress. Round 2 – Final Offline Pitching: Held on April 25, 2026, at the College of Vocational Studies campus in New Delhi. Shortlisted teams will present their working prototypes or Figma designs and pitch their ideas to the judging panel, demonstrating their solutions and answering questions. Prizes The top three teams will be awarded a total cash prize pool of ₹20,000, along with valuable in-kind prizes. All shortlisted teams will receive participation certificates, and the winning teams will be honored with winner certificates. Eligibility Open to students from all colleges. Teams must consist of 2–4 members; solo participation is not allowed. Cross-college teams are permitted. Team members cannot be changed after registration, and only one submission is allowed per team. How to Apply Registration for the Technophilia Hackathon closes on April 19, 2026. Teams are required to submit a presentation (PPT) during the registration process. While a working prototype is encouraged, teams can submit a detailed PPT explaining their problem statement, proposed solution, technical architecture, expected workflow, and technology stack if a prototype is not yet ready.
